WHY YOU’RE EASILY WORTH A MILLION BUCKS AS A COACH OR CONSULTANT

Hey you. Yes, YOU! What’s the first thought that comes to your mind when I say that you’re easily worth a million bucks? Do you break out into a cold sweat? Do you think that surely, I’m not talking to you? Do you immediately think about the massive gap between what you’re earning right now and what it’s like having a million dollars in your bank account?

Well, guess what? I don’t care what your pre-conditioning and inner critic dialogue says. Because I know something about you that is true, whether you choose to believe it or not.

YOU have extraordinary talent, experience, qualifications, insights, learnings, gifts and skills like no-one else on this planet. Nobody can do what you do in the way that you do it.

If you could truly recognise and own your unique value, package it up and communicate it effectively – you would be sitting on a goldmine. Seriously.

There is plenty of evidence to support this truth. Just look at Tony Robbins or Gabrielle Bernstein.

And, if your first thought was…

  • “I don’t have Tony’s charisma”
  • “I don’t have that credibility”
  • “I don’t have that experience”
  • “I don’t look the part, like Gabby”
  • “I’m just not that effective”

Stop it!

Sure, you’re right… you don’t have Tony’s charisma or Gabby’s looks or the same experience as either of them. You have something better. You have your own talent, experience, qualifications, insights, learnings, gifts and skills.

And if you can truly recognise and own your unique value, there is no limit to what you can achieve, what you can earn and how many people you can help.

I look out into the coaching and consulting industries and what I see is an epidemic of undercharging. I get it, you have to start somewhere. So, this is not to discredit any coach or consultant who is out in the world, doing their thing at a price that they are comfortable with.

However, I am also hearing from many, many coaches and consultants that they are not earning what they want to be earning. Not even close.

There is only one reason for that. If you’re not earning what you want to be earning, you need to address the root cause of why you feel you’re not worth what you want to be worth.

I had one client who couldn’t even conceive of coaching 1-1, because they felt they lacked the credibility, qualifications and ability to impact people at that level. So, when they launched their 1-1 coaching program and became fully booked within months, what shifted to make this a reality?

They didn’t get a new qualification, they didn’t have any additional training, they didn’t have anymore experience.

What they did was CHOOSE to recognise and own their true value. What they did was shift their beliefs about themselves and their worth as an effective coach.

To create a successful and profitable coaching or consulting business, one cannot overstate the importance of effective marketing, sales and systems. That’s why we cover it all off at the GCC. However, that pales in comparison to addressing your inner game, as a priority.

There is someone who will pay for your unique value at every single price point. The price that you are paid depends on the value you are prepared to own, unapologetically.
